Delete your JobsWorkers account
JobsWorkers, Inc. — a Delaware corporation
Version 2026-07 · Last Updated: July 30, 2026
You can delete your JobsWorkers account — for either the "Jobs" application or the "Jobs Workers" application — at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, what is kept, and when a deletion cannot be completed straight away. It describes the same process set out in Section 10.4 of the Privacy Policy, which controls if there is any difference between the two.
1. Deleting from within the application
Open the application, go to your account settings, and choose to delete your account. The application asks you to confirm, and then submits the deletion.
2. If you no longer have the application installed
You do not need to reinstall anything and you do not need to create a new account. Email legal@jobsworkers.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will process that request without requiring you to reinstall the application or create a new account.
In either case we verify the request as described in Section 10.2 of the Privacy Policy.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
When an account is deleted, your profile is removed from public visibility and from matching, and your personal information is deleted — except for the records we are permitted or required to keep under Section 8 of the Privacy Policy. Those records are principally:
(a) transaction, Wallet, and tax records;
(b) Job histories, reviews, and dispute evidence; and
(c) legal acceptance records.
Section 8 gives the reason for each: the transaction, Wallet, payment, and tax records are kept for legal, tax, and accounting obligations; the Job histories, reviews, disputes, and their evidence to resolve and document disputes and to comply with law; and the legal acceptance records and Sworn Declaration executions to evidence your agreements. Certifications regarding licenses are retained for at least three (3) years. Retained records are limited to what those purposes require.
Your identity-verification images and biometric information are not retained by JobsWorkers at all. As Section 3 of the Privacy Policy describes, they are held by Stripe; what JobsWorkers keeps is the outcome of the verification and its reference identifiers.
4. When deletion cannot be completed yet
Deletion cannot be completed while you have an open Job, an unresolved dispute, or an unsettled balance. If that is the case, we will tell you, and we will complete the deletion once it is resolved.
